
SYUTOKU Japanese Education Academy was established in August 2010, and since then has continued to provide educational support to exchange students who come to Japan with a dream. The Great East Japan Earthquake hit soon after the school’s establishment but, despite that difficult time, the staff and students worked together to overcome their hardships.You can reach Narita and Haneda airports directly with a single train line. Professional Japanese teachers provide careful instruction in Japanese.

Our school is located in downtown Tokyo, along Meiji-dori in the Kita Ward. When commuting to this school, you have access to three stations and five train lines. You can live in a different area of Tokyo, and easily commute to school. The New Campus is around 1 minutes’ walk from Nishi-Nippori station, and the Main Campus is around 6 minutes’ walk from either station.

We have 400 students from 20 different countries at our school. You can make friends from all over the world. Classes are divided based on Japanese proficiency levels—beginner, intermediate, and advanced—and lessons are conducted accordingly.

The school provides above and beyond support. There are English-speaking staff available to assist you with any issues that may arise during your time at the school.

・2 years: ¥1,570,000※Tuition fees must be paid within two weeks after the Certificate of Eligibility is issued by the Immigration Bureau.
※An application fee of 25,000 yen is to be paid upon completing the first year's payment.
※If there are exceptionally outstanding students, they may apply for scholarships through consultation.

The regular Japanese long-term course runs for five days a week from Monday to Friday.
Morning classes 9:10 – 12:30
Afternoon classes 13:20 – 16:40The long-term vacations are summer and winter holidays and spring break.

Beginner Students: At this stage, students will focus on being able to understand basic daily conversations and expressions, adapting to life in Japan.

In this phase, students will aim to fluently answer Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 level and above questions, comprehend more difficult Japanese, and be able to write short essays in Japanese.

The school can also help students with finding a part-time job to fund their studies. They also post available local part-time jobs, and prepare you for the interview.

From preparing you for interviews to teaching you proper business Japanese, we provide support for when you’re ready to join the Japanese workforce or attend a university.
Housing

In order for students living away from the comfort of their home country to study with ease, our academy offers a student dormitory within the vicinity of the school that is furnished with everything necessary for daily life.

※ In some cases, the rent does not include water or utilities
