150 HOUR CERTIFICATE!
March 2025: The Japanese immigration started requiring students prove “150 hours of studying Japanese” before they could get a student visa, and go to a Japanese language school. Most students decided to buy a 150 hour online course, and receive a certificate of studying Japanese.
April 2026: The Japanese immigration ended the 150 hour certificate requirement, but student still need to prove they have studied Japanese. Starting immediately, applying to a Japanese Japanese language school will begin with a test of the student’s Japanese language ability. If the student fails the test, they can’t apply to the school.
