KLA group has 10 Japanese language schools around Japan, around 4000 international students, and over 50 years in the education business. Our Osaka campus just moved into a brand new building in downtown Osaka. We strive to build a warm school environment where students and staff grow together. Our highly experienced teachers and staff will also provide detailed guidance to support the goals of our international students. We cherish and respect independent thinking. Learning vocabulary and grammar is not enough for success in daily life, higher education, or employment in Japan. From beginner to advanced levels, all materials incorporate output activities such as conversation, writing, and practical exercises. We teach Japanese in Japanese, even at beginner level.   • Our new school is located in the center of Osaka City, and has very easy access by train or subway. The area is full of shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions.   • We have 240 students from over 15 countries. You’ll be able to make new friends from all over the world.

  • Getting accustomed to life in Japan can be stressful, but have no fear, our English-speaking staff are always available. We support students daily life too, so you can always share joyful moments or consult about troubles, allowing you to enjoy school life with peace of mind. We can also help you find a part time job, business manners, and prepare your resume.

Price

  • Long-term course is 6 months to 2 years. The prices below include entrance fees and textbooks. One semester is 3 months, approx. 47 days of lessons. 8 levels from beginner to upper advanced level. Class size is average of 20 students. Enrollment dates: January, April, July, October (No beginner level in January)

    - 1 year is 979,000 JPY
    (First 6 months is 544,500 JPY)

    - 1 year and 6 months is 1,413,500 JPY.

    - 1 year and 9 months is 1,630,750 JPY

    - 2 years is 1,848,000 JPY

  • Short-term course is maximum 3 months. Textbooks / excursion: At actual cost.

    Entrance fee: 22,000 JPY
    Tuition fee: calculate on daily basis, 3,300 JPY per day.

  • 3 hours per day AM or PM, from Monday to Friday except national holidays.

    *Teachers will decide your class after the placement test, you cannot choose AM or PM.
    *Each level of classes are very limited, please let us know your Japanese study experience!

  • We teach Japanese in Japanese, even at beginner level, but you need to know Hiragana, Katakana, basic grammar, and basic phrases! For students whose Japanese is weaker compared to their classmates, our teachers provide additional support. You will receive full support throughout your learning journey. Our education style will improve your communication skills, prepare you for academic advancement, and of prepare you to pass the JLPT.

  • A majority of our students want to advance to graduate school, college, or vocational school. Students can plan ahead with their future goals in mind and walk the path together with their homeroom teachers. We assist in career path selection through coordination with educational institutions, including on-campus guidance sessions, trial classes, and escorting students to off-campus information sessions. We’ll also share our knowledge on entrance exams, and provide individual guidance while staying close to each student’s various education / career aspirations.

  • We have a team of guidance counselors to support students' with planning further education or job-seeking in Japan. We’ll help you clarify your post-graduation goals, prepare you with mock job / college interviews, and guide you with process of getting a new visa.

  • KLA Osaka does not have its own dormitories, but we help each student find affordable housing near the school before they arrive in Japan. After you arrive, we assist with the rental contract process. Rent varies depending on apartment.
