KAMEI Gakuen Japanese language school was founded in April 2019, and is one of several schools owned by Kamei Gakuen Corp. Our school welcomes students from diverse countries including China, Nepal, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and many others.

  • We’re located on the outer edge of Kyoto city, in a quiet neighborhood, but there are restaurants, parks, and supermarkets near by. Kyoto is famous for its traditional culture and academic atmosphere, and you can our school is only a short bicycle / bus ride from downtown. Our school provides students with an ideal environment for both study and daily life.

  • We have a very small school, around 100 students, and mostly from Asian countries. Students from various countries and cultural backgrounds study together at our school, creating a diverse and international learning environment.
    Through cultural exchange and mutual understanding, students can broaden their perspectives while improving their Japanese communication skills.

  • Our experienced teachers and staff members are dedicated to supporting students both academically and personally. We strive to create a friendly and approachable atmosphere where students can comfortably seek guidance regarding studies, daily life, higher education, and career planning.

    1 year: ￥796,000

    • The prices above includes application fee, admission fee, annual tuition fee, Study Materials Fee , Extracurricular Activity Fee, Student Welfare Fee(insurance).

    • You need to pay 1 year fee on admission time (No installment on first year , but you can pay by installment on 2nd year)

    • This fee is not including dormitory

  • Even students with no prior knowledge of Japanese can study with confidence. We offer step-by-step instruction from the beginner level, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in a supportive learning environment.

  • Our school supports highly motivated students who aim to enter universities, graduate schools, or vocational schools in Japan. We provide guidance for the EJU, JLPT, interviews, and academic advancement according to each student’s goals.

  • After graduation, we continue to support students in their next steps, including higher education, employment opportunities, and career consultation in Japan. Our staff provides guidance tailored to each student’s future goals and aspirations.

Housing

  • Student dormitories are available for international students who wish to live in a safe and convenient environment. The dormitories are located within accessible distance from the school and are equipped with essential facilities for daily life.(dormitory are available in shared room style)

    Monthly dormitory fees range from ¥20,000 to ¥25,000 depending on the room type and location.
