JILA is located a short bicycle ride from downtown Fukuoka. The school is close to various shops and restaurants. Students can enjoy the convenience and diversity of the area, as well as explore the culture and attractions of Fukuoka City. The student housing is only a 5 minute walk from the school.
In Fukuoka, there are many specialty dishes such as motsunabe, tonkotsu ramen, and spicy cod roe, and it is also famous as a gourmet town. Fukuoka is the most prosperous place in Kyushu, and it is also known as one of the three major cities in Japan, making it an extremely comfortable place to live.

If your Japanese language level is around N5, you must start in April term, and the minimum visa length is 2 years.
・2 years: ￥1,481,900
If your Japanese language level is N4 or higher, you can start in April or October. Here are your options:
・1 year: ￥773,400
・1 year and 3 months: ￥949,150
・1 year and 6 months: ￥1,124,900
Depending on your level of Japanese, classes will be in the morning OR afternoon.

As a general rule, “younger” students must live in a dormitory for the first 6 months in order to improve their life in Japan. If you have your family in Japan and you live with them.
The dormitory is fully equipped (toilet, bath, kitchen, electric cooker, refrigerator, microwave, washing machine, air conditioner) so that you can live immediately. Water, electricity and internet charges are included in the dormitory fee. JILA provides reasonable student dormitories so that students can reduce their living expenses in Japan as much as possible. The student housing is a 5 minute walk from the school.

If you do not want to live with your roommate in the student dormitory, please contact us in advance. We will prepare a single room, but the monthly fee for the dormitory is about 57,000 yen/month, and the initial fee for entering the dormitory is 72,000 yen.
We have a business relationships with a “foreigner friendly” real estate companies, we can recommend a few places, so you can rent your own apartment.
