SHINJUKU GYOEN GAKUIN Japanese Language School was established in 1988, and offers a wide range of courses for international students — from short-term programs and long-term study courses to private lessons. Our curriculum is designed to prepare students for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) and to help them advance to universities or vocational schools in Japan.     1 year course: ￥858,000

  • 1 month course: tuition fee 62,000 plus 22,000 enrollment fee

    3 months course: tuition fee 180,000 plus 22,000 enrollment fee

    6 months course: tuition fee 350,000 plus 22,000 enrollment fee

    Private class
    4,800 yen per 45mins plus 22,000 enrollment fee

  • Depending on your level of Japanese, classes will be in the morning OR afternoon, and a total of 15 hours/week.

    MORNING CLASS: Monday - Friday
    9:20 AM - 12:50 NOON

    AFTERNOON CLASS: Monday - Friday
    1:10 PM - 4:40 PM

  • Students who already know hiragana and katakana are welcome to join our classes starting in April.

  • Depending on your Japanese level, we’ll place you in a class that suits your ability. Our class is designed to help students to take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).

  • With the aim of fostering Japanese language ability, we enable graduates to go onto university or vocational school.

Housing

  • Our student apartments are conveniently located within walking distance of the school. Living in the heart of Tokyo offers a wonderful opportunity to experience authentic Japanese city life. We provide both single rooms and shared houses. Prices vary, so please contact us by email for more information.
