CLOVER Japanese Institute was established in 1989, in Osaka, and teaches Japanese with the belief that learning a language is learning the heart of its people. We offer courses from beginner to advanced levels, focusing on both language and cultural understanding. We are also working on an interactive online course, called Platclover, and it will be a great resource to Japanese language learners everywhere. Our students enjoy cultural festivals, speech competitions, field trips, and more. Our friendly environment helps learners grow both academically and personally.   • Clover Language Institute is located in the center of Osaka City, and has very easy access by train or subway. The area is full of shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions. Come experience the real Osaka life.

  • Osaka is popular with foreigners. We have students from Nepal, Myanmar, China, and Vietnam. Classes are mixed with students from different countries, encouraging communication in Japanese and cultural exchange. At Clover, you not only improve your Japanese but also learn about each other’s cultures.

  • Clover provides full support—not only in language learning but also in understanding Japanese rules and life. Multilingual staff (Chinese, Nepali, Vietnamese, and English) are always available, so students feel comfortable and supported.

  • Beginner students start from the JLPT N5 level. For students whose Japanese is weaker compared to their classmates, our teachers provide additional support after class. You will receive full support throughout your learning journey.

  • Advanced students start from the JLPT N2 level. If you are planning to enter a university or pursue a master’s degree in Japan, we provide full support through extra classes and guidance on your research project.

  • The school can also help students with finding a part-time job to fund their studies. They also post available local part-time jobs, and prepare you for the interview.

  • We provide support for visa renewal. If you have any problems finding a room, we’re here to help with that as well.

  • None

  • Clover does not have its own dormitories, but we help each student find affordable housing near the school before they arrive in Japan. After you arrive, we assist with the rental contract process. Rent varies depending on apartment. You don’t have to move out after graduating from the school—you can stay in the same room as long as you continue to pay the rent.
