ABK College, established by the Asian Student Cultural Association (founded in 1957 and accredited by the Cabinet Office), carries on a tradition of over half a century and was opened in 2014. We've created our own educational materials for our students and the average foreigner. These have been published in Japan and even abroad. Out of the 30+ books we have published, the "Kanzen Master Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 2 Grammar Workbook (3A Corporation)" boasts an unwavering popularity ever since it was published 15 years ago. In 2013, we launched the "TRY! Learning Japanese from Grammar (ASK Corporation)." These 5 books tackle the new Japanese Language Proficiency Test from the N5 level through N1. Of course, these have been published in both Japan and abroad. Putting together the 30 years of Japanese Language Education know-how, these original teaching materials will allow you to efficiently raise your Japanese proficiency while keeping in line with examinations such as the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.

Bunkyo Ward is known as an educational area, home to many of Japan's top universities, including the University of Tokyo, as well as international high school campuses.     * Short-term courses are available for those who can enter Japan using a temporary (tourist) visa or a working holiday visa, as well as for those who hold other types of visas to stay in Japan.

  • Depending on your level of Japanese, classes will be in the morning OR afternoon, and a total of 20 hours/week. 860 hours/year.

  • Classes are divided into 11 to 15 levels based on the results of a placement test. The level division is very detailed, so you can study in a class that matches your level. All lessons are conducted in Japanese, but after one month, you will be able to understand what the teacher is saying in Japanese.

  • In this phase, students will aim to fluently answer Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 level and above questions, comprehend more difficult Japanese, and be able to write short essays in Japanese.

  • The school can also help students with finding a part-time job to fund their studies. They also post available local part-time jobs, and prepare you for the interview.

  • We will support you on job hunting, master degree, undergraduate, art university, technical school, Certication preparations, desires career, etc.
    The 860 hours of study at ABK COLLEGE in one year is a very long learning time compared to other Japanese language schools. As a result, after completing one year of study, you will be able to communicate fluently in Japanese!
